So the heat went down in my apartment over night.  It’s -30 with a windchill around -40.  Our windows are frosted over on the inside, I can see my breath when I get close to them.  AND MY ASSHOLE building manager has the nerve to (as usual when we call with any problem) act like I must have done something to break the heat. 

First of all pal, you’re getting paid to fix these sorts of problems, and since our building is the only one you manage, I’m sure you are not that fucking busy.  Second of all, it’s dangerously cold outside.  Freezing to death, frostbite in five minutes, apocalyptic kind of cold.  Meaning the longer we wait to fix this problem, the colder the apartment is going to get, and the greater the chance our pipes are going to freeze (gee I can’t wait for things to be flooded and cold!)

Every single time I call this prick I get nothing but attitude, rudeness and the feeling that I want to punch his lights out/write a really nasty letter and get him replaced.  Dear Brian Lilley:  You are a PRICK.  I hope the heat goes down in your house, office, and car.  So then maybe you might have a little more vested interest in assisting the people you are PAID to help. 

Calgarians, beware of Condofax management company.  Don’t use them unless you want to be belittled, seemingly blamed for something that you have no control over (this is the third time the heat has broken since September), and treated less than human for making a necessary phone call.
